Position Overview

This position is responsible for customer quoting in support of revenue and gross profit budgets while maintaining quote accuracy and on-time delivery to ensure customer quote satisfaction. This position requires maintaining the knowledge of commonly-used quoting concepts, practices, and procedures. In addition, this position will utilize and provide feedback on work instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. The position maintains the company standards involving ethics and values while professionally representing Spirit America, dba Spirit Electronics. This position may offer future potential growth and opportunities within Spirit Electronics.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with suppliers, sales and other internal customers.
  • Execution of customer quotes for franchised and non-franchised lines in support of Spirit quote opportunities for all business models (SMI, Distribution and Kitting) while ensuring accuracy and on time delivery of quotes
  • Strategic Supplier Management
  • Understand and seek input from sales on customer strategy and drive actions and results to achieve stated strategy and objectives.
  • Market pricing analysis for commodity products
  • Develop relationships with supplier representatives
  • Develop strategic pricing models to enable Spirit to increase the quote win ratio
  • Develop strategic plan for providing feedback to suppliers on lost quote opportunities to increase future quote wins including establishing a system of documentation, communication and review of internal and external comparative price data and win / loss results.
  • Sourcing Capabilities
  • Must be able to tactically execute customer quotes
  • Provide feedback on suggested suppliers for the Spirit line card.
  • Responsible for supplier interface and communication with sales on pricing decisions, profit optimization and LOI (letters of intent) management.
  • Ensure sales orders are in compliance with gross profit margin guidelines and manage gross profit performance.
  • Negotiation skills for improved pricing from suppliers
  • Support of Quality Management System (QMS)

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 to 4 years product knowledge, materials knowledge and/or sales experience
  • Distribution or industry experience in semiconductor, passive, electro-mechanical and interconnect products
  • Extensive product knowledge including supplier part number configuration

Position Overview 

The Quality Assurance Analyst supports the Spirit team by overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS), including certification to ISO 9001 and AS9100. This position will establish, implement, maintain and improve the policies, practices and procedures necessary to ensure effective operations and assist the CEO in achieving corporate goals.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate quality goals to help the team achieve top performance
  • Support all team functions to drive continuous improvement
  • Plan and monitor corrective actions, preventive actions, and improvement actions by collaborating with the Spirit team and verifying effectiveness
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, performance metrics (KPIs), on-time delivery, and quality ratings
  • Manage risk assessments, analyze trends, and report quality data to top management
  • Perform root cause analysis, resolve nonconformances, and initiate corrective actions
  • Manage internal audit program
  • Maintain employee training program (Spirit University) by scheduling, planning, leading, and documenting training activities
  • Ensure efficient documentation of the QMS, procedures, and standards requirements
  • Evaluate and monitor suppliers
  • Facilitate ISO 9001/AS9100 certification, customer, supplier, and other government or regulatory audits and visits
  • Analyze GIDEP communications, product change notifications, and customer notifications
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve issues and achieve customer satisfaction
  • Monitor Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control programs and implement improvements
  • Oversee equipment calibration and verification
  • Act as Facility Security Officer

Position Overview

Provide excellent customer service to our customer base of Tier 1 Defense Contractors and increase sales thru contact with customers and buyers. Nurture and maintain sales/business relationships initiated by executive sales/senior account reps/inside and outside sales/product pricing specialists. Process customer orders and flow downs of critical quality requirements to our manufacturers. This position is the liaison between our customer and OEMs for the end to end order management processes. Maintain company standards involving ethical and moral character while professionally representing Spirit Electronics. Technical competency is a must, accuracy and attention to details of extensive part numbers, drawing numbers and excel skills are mandatory.

Essential Job Functions

· Develop and maintain strong working relationship with customers

· Familiarize account base with Spirit’s customer solutions, line-card, and value-added services

· Develop customer’s opportunities and present to management

· Receive, process, and complete request for quote from customers based on customers’ needs as well as on- time delivery and accuracy of quotes

· Execution of customer sales orders and supplier purchase orders; execute change orders and expediting with supply base to ensure supplier’s and customer’s on-time delivery performance.

· Processing customer complaints through resolution and corrective action if necessary

· Monitor Spirit’s customer’s performance rating and take necessary actions to improve customer satisfaction based on performance ratings.

· Provide monthly communication and reports to customers on aged and liability inventories. Ensure that inventories are purchased by customers in a timely manner.

· Attend customer business reviews as deemed necessary and or provide documentation and support for customer business reviews

· Notification to customers of product shipment holds, obsolescence, end-of-life and product allocation

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree with three years’ experience in distribution or Industry related experience preferred or five plus years distribution or industry related experience

· Strong interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication

· Multi-tasking in fast-paced environment

· Able to handle customer conflicts or service issues
